Easy Back-to-School Makeup Routine

Hey girls! Today’s post is going to be a simple back to school makeup routine. When you go to school, you want your makeup to be simple and natural, but still beautiful and soothing to your face and style. So if you want to know how to do this, read on!

1.       Start with the perfect foundation. Make sure the foundation you’re using is the correct tone. You can apply on with your hands, a brush, or a beauty blender. Make sure that you’re not heavy on the foundation so that your layer is thin.

2.       Continue with some concealer. Your concealer should be about the same tone as your foundation. Apply on to the area of the under eye and on any places the foundation didn’t cover up well. One trick of mine is to apply the concealer on your lid for a cleaner look.

3.       The next step is to apply blush. Usually, I would tell you to apply contour and highlighter, but since we’re going for a really natural look, I’m not going to include that in. Use a blush that is slightly lighter or darker than your skin tone. Try to use nude colors. Don’t be too heavy on the blush and apply thin, up going strokes.

4.       The following step is to apply on mascara. I wouldn’t recommend putting on falsies if you’re looking for the natural look, but if you feel like that suits you better, feel free to apply it on. Be light on the mascara and don’t make it look too heavy, or else, it won’t look natural.

5.       Next apply on eye shadow. Use nude colors and go for a clean, light design.

6.       After that fill in your eye brows. This is important since eyebrows frame your face. Use a color that is similar to the hair in your eyebrows and fill them in.

7.       The last step is to apply on lipstick. My recommendation is to go for a nude and matt color. Fill in your lips with lip liner, and then apply on the gloss or the lipstick. Don’t go for a color that pops out too much like red or dark purple, just stick with the nudes.

My main tips: be very light on the application and stick with the nudes.

Hey girls! Today, I’m going to be posting about make up in general. We all know what makeup is for. But if you misuse it, it will not work so well. One of my first tips is not to buy makeup that is not promising. In other words, cheap make up that will break soon. Try to buy makeup from the brands that you know work well like Maybelline, and Revlon, and Cover girl, and etc. You also want to take care of your makeup. For example, don’t leave it thrown around. Another really important thing is not to be rough on your makeup. For example, don’t scrape your eyeshadow for color to come out, or don’t bang it against a table. Another really important tip is to have a clean bag where you store your makeup. The reason you don’t want to have a dirty bag is because it can damage the cover of your makeup and you want your makeup to look clean and brand new.
